Comio C2 Lite, Comio S1 Launched in India: Price, Specifications and more
Adding to the already over-saturated sub-Rs 10,000 smartphone market, Chinese smartphone brand Comio has launched two smartphones.

Called the Comio C2 Lite and Comio S1 Lite, these devices come with a dedicated front flash as well as a microSD card. They come bundled with earphones, tempered glass, and a protection case as well.





Price and availability

The Comio S1 Lite is priced at Rs 7,499, while C2 Lite will retail at Rs 5,999. Both budget smartphones will be available at offline stores and aim to target the potential audience in the tier 2 and tier 3 cities. As part of launch offers, Reliance Jio customers can get Rs 2,200 cashback. This offer is valid for both Rs 198 and Rs 299 plans and will be credited to users' MyJio app account and will be visible under 'My Vouchers'. Maximum cashback that users can get is for Rs 50, which they will receive for 44 months making it Rs 2,200.


Specifications


Starting with the Comio S1 Lite, the handset sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with M Wall glass protection of 720x1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6737 processor coupled with 1.5GB of RAM. For storage purposes, it offers 16GB of inbuilt storage and microSD card support of up to 128GB. Backed by a 3900mAh battery, it is claimed to deliver up to 27 hours of talk time, and up to 350 hours of standby time. For imaging duties, it has an 8MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture. Running Comio UI based on Android 7.0 Nougat, the handset offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB as connectivity options. Available colour options include Metallic Grey, Royal Black, and Sunrise Gold.


Moving on to the Comio C2 Lite, this device has slight improvements as compared to the S1 Lite. Powered by the same 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6737 processor, this handset has 2GB RAM under the hood. It also offers 8MP front camera and a 13MP rear camera. Internal storage is also doubled to 32GB and expanded microSD card support of up to 128GB.


Backed by a 3050mAh battery, which is less than the S1 Lite, this device is said to last up to 160 hours of standby time and 10 hours of talk time. The display and connectivity options remain the same as the S1 Lite. Colour options in which the C2 Lite is available is Ocean Blue, Royal Black, and Sunrise Gold.
