Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has launched its new smartphones in India today -- the Redmi Note 5 and the Redmi Note 5 Pro. However, its previous generation of products are available online at discounts. E-commerce marketplace Amazon is holding another edition of the ‘I Heart Mi' campaign offering discounts on 5 Xiaomi devices. It seems like another Valentine’s Day offer with a certain twist to it.
Starting with the Redmi Note 4, the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant is available at a discount of Rs 2,000. Priced at Rs 12,999, this device is up for grabs at Rs 10,999. In terms of specs, the Redmi Note 4 has a 5.5-inch full-HD display and is powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. Besides the internal 64GB, there is an additional 128GB microSD card support. Backed by a 4,100mAh battery, it has a 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and 5MP front camera.
Moving on, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, the handset is available at Rs 1,000 off for the 64GB storage and 4GB RAM is available at Rs 15,999 during this campaign.
Besides these two, the other Xiaomi devices that are available on Amazon are Xiaomi Redmi 4 that comes at a starting price of Rs 6,999, Redmi Y1 Litetoo at a starting price of Rs 6,999 with a special Rose Gold colour and the Redmi Y1 at a starting price of Rs 8,999.
Xiaomi, the company which has today launched its first 2018 products, has also emerged as the leader of the Indian smartphone for the Q4 2017, beating the South Korean tech giant Samsung. The Chinese smartphone vendor tripled its shipments year-over-year and sold over 2 million units from its offline channel. With its two latest launches, the Chinese smartphone maker would look to consolidate its number one position in the market.
