Astrum launches 'True Wireless' earphones in India at Rs 5,190
After smartphones, if there’s a product category that sees a steady stream of launches then it has to be headphones/earphones. Almost every second day we get to hear about a new launch from a brand. This time it’s the turn of Hong Kong-based Astrum to throw its hat in the ring.

The company has launched a pair of wireless earphones, interestingly called the 'true wireless earphone' in India. Priced at Rs 5,190, these earphones are claimed to offer good sound, build quality and noise reduction. The earphones are already being sold on leading e-commerce sites as well as retail stores across India.

These wireless earphones have a ‘one size fits all’ design along with the ear hooks that is said to give the earphones ideal fitting for all kinds of activity.

These earphones have an IPX5 rating meaning that they are water resistant. They come equipped with Hear Through technology that enables users to choose between noise cancellation or hear the sounds around them.

They offer Bluetooth connectivity up to 10m range and have a built-in mic that supports Touch Interface to control music and hands-free calls. The earphones also come equipped with multi-function connectivity which means that one can use the two earbuds simultaneously for different functions. For instance, one can choose to connect each Bluetooth earbud with two different Bluetooth devices.

In terms of battery, the Astrum true wireless earphones are claimed to last 2.5 hours on continuous playback and 12 hours on stand-by on a single charge. Like many other wireless earphones, these too can get charged using the case.
