"In reviewing the updates for this month, some vulnerabilities were identified that pose elevated threat of cyberattacks via government companies, once in a while called geographical region actors, or different copycat firms," The Verge quoted Adrienne corridor, widespread manager of crisis control at Microsoft, as pronouncing.
"To address this threat, these days we are imparting additional protection updates along side our normal replace Tuesday carrier. those security updates are being made to be had to all customers, which include the ones using older versions of windows," corridor introduced.
Microsoft said that it is freeing updates for windows XP, windows Vista and all other extra latest unsupported and supported versions of windows because of an "increased hazard" of attacks that are just like the WannaCry malware.
The patches may be made available on Microsoft's download center or windows replace.
