Facebook adds offline mode to Instagram on Android

Facebook on its day 2 of annual developer's conference F8 made a big announcement related to its photo-sharing app Instagram. Users accessing Instagram on Android can now use the app even in offline mode i.e without internet connection. Company says that this will help users stay connected and enjoy a better Instagram experience in areas with spotty internet connection.
"Instagram's mission is to help people connect through shared experiences. 80% of the community is outside of the US, and as our platform grows, Instagram must perform across an increasing variety of devices and networks to keep people connected. For people in low-bandwidth regions, we've begun testing offline experiences that keep the Instagram experience consistent and let people consume and engage with content, even if they don't have service," says Facebook.
Instagram in offline mode means you can browse through photos and upload photos even without internet connection. Users will be able to see posts that have been shared before and leave likes, save media or even unfollow someone if they want. The result will be reflected once they are reconnected to internet .
