Micromax's upcoming high-end phone may sport dual cameras

On  Thursday India Today Tech exclusively reported that Micromax is working on its first high-end smartphone of the year. Today the company has started teasing this phone. This "anonymous" Micromax device is expected to sport a dual-rear camera setup, hinted a tweet made by Micromax at its official Twitter account.

The upcoming premium smartphone is expected to be priced at a range between Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 30,000. However, this is just an assumption. As far as the specifications are concerned, the unnamed Micromax smartphone will have a metal unibody design along with a curved back and tapered edges.

To recall, Micromax announced the Canvas 6 Pro last year, which was yet another high-end smartphone that the company launched. Connectivity wise, this high-end Micromax smartphone is going to include USB Type C for easy charging and data transfer. Chances are that this device will come with fast changing capability.

No more details on the display, camera, battery, storage front has been revealed as of now. Although you won't have to wait long to know more. The is expected to be unveiled by the end of March or early April.
The Indian based smartphone vendor is quite popular for its mid-ranged devices. Although in year 2016 it lost a lot of ground to Chinese companies like Lenovo, Oppo and Vivo. However, the company is now expected to change its business strategy. Currently it is not only working on a high-end phone but also a couple of budget devices, including Bharat 1, a 4G feature phone, and Bharat 2, which will be a 4G Android phone. The Bharat 1 will have a price tag of Rs 1,999 while the Bharat 2 will sell for Rs 2,999.
