The devices could feature a display folding outwards alongside a display on the front and back as well. It is also said the foldout smartphone could further turn into a 7-inch tablet when unfolded.
Last year, Samsung had filed another patent for a foldable smartphone, which bends in the middle to acquire the shape of a flip phone. The patent was eventually approved. As per the renders on the patent, the mobile can bend from middle. The cool part about the patent was its ability to bend without using the force of other hand.
