We've literally been waiting years for this day!
In a series of black-and-white Instagram photos, Jessica Simpson revealed she's back in the studio — presumably to release some new music.
"Studio Vibin'," she captioned one of the pics.
Needless to say, fans were ecstatic by the news. "Dream come true. I can't wait for this," one follower wrote, while another said, "Yes! Miss your music."
Jess told the Huffington Post last month, "I’m back in the studio... I’ve been in the music business for so long, and it’s interesting to see what I come up with as a mom and the perspective I have after all the records I have made and all the life situations I’ve been through."
The 35-year-old hasn't released an album since 2010's holiday-themed Happy Christmas. Before that, she strayed away from pop with the country-inspired Do You Know in 2008.
But she certainly hasn't been slacking when it comes to her career! Not only has the blonde beauty been running her wildly successful fashion empire, which brings in approximately $1 billion a year in sales, she's also kept busy building a family — welcoming daughter Maxwell in 2012 and son Ace in 2013 with husbandEric Johnson.
