The camera of Galaxy S7 is much better than that of Galaxy S6, so much so that it can be certainly said that S7 can even beat Apple iPhone 6S in terms of clicking good shots. Starting with low-light images, Galaxy S7 shoots better images at low light than iPhone 6s, as it has the ability to capture clearer images at night with auto focus. Though S7 cannot equally match the abilities of an SLR camera, but it still has a lot of light-capturing and focus technologies which are usually found in professional shooters. Such technologies help in clicking brighter and sharper in low light or at night.

S7 even provides a wider angle than Samsung’s previous flagship smartphone, Galaxy S6. This wider angle matches with that of iPhone’s hardware. Not only the internal features, but the external design has also been improved in Galaxy S7. Samsung Galaxy S7’s camera lens does not protrude outwards like it used to do in S6.
For low light selfies, Galaxy S7’s screen turns into a flash so as to capture a better and a clearer picture. This feature is found in the latest iPhone models.
The frame size of the pictures have also been changed from 16-by-9 to 4-by-3, which is like shooting a picture from S6 with its far edges cut off.

The drawback with the camera of Galaxy S7 is that the indoor shots seem a little yellowish and the faces look a bit a more orange than usual.
Overall, Samsung Galaxy S7 and Apple iPhone are the two best phones to click low light images. While the former has a better focus, the latter makes the pictures look more natural.
