DESIGN & DISPLAY: There is not much change in the design of both the phones and they will be similar to their predecessors. Samsung will keep the same design
as it had debuted with Galaxy S6 and Sony Z6 will feature the premium Xperia Z5 design again. As far as display is concerned, the screen size of the Galaxy S7 is 5.1 inches and an edge variant is also available which is of 5.5-inch. It has a pixel density of 576ppi. Whereas, the display of Sony Xperia Z6 is of 5.2 inch but it comes with a lower pixel density of 424ppi.PERFORMANCE & CAMERA: Samsung Galaxy has two processing options and it will be powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset in U.S. and an Exynos 8890 chipset while going to Europe. On the other hand, Sony Xperia Z6 is powered by the latest Qualcomm chipset. Talking about the camera, Sony as well as Samsung has always been expert in this area undoubtedly. Both of their latest models has featured the best phone cameras on the market. Samsung is rumoured to sport a 12 MP sensor with an aperture of f/1.7 and Briteicell technology. Sony is expected to maintain the same sensors from its previous Z5 for its latest Z6 with 16 megapixel.
BATTERY: The battery capacity of Samsung Galaxy S7 is 3000mAh non-removable battery unit whereas, Sony Z6 has reduced its battery’s size so we cannot expect a battery more than 3,000 mAh.
PRICE & FINAL THOUGHTS: the price of Samsung Galaxy S7 is said to be Rs. 46000 and the price of Sony Xperia Z6 is RS. 46,680. Both have almost the same price so there will be intense competition between the two. Both the latest flagships will release at the same event of MWC.
