ZTE MAX XL

ZTE on Tuesday announced a new smartphone called MAX XL. As the name suggests -- MAX XL, which means huge. That's exactly ZTE has got in with the new launch. The key highlight the ZTE MAX XL is its big battery and display. The smartphone comes packed with a 6-inch display, which is much bigger than the recently launched Samsung flagship -- Galaxy S8 with packs a 5.7-inch screen. While on the other hand, the smartphone also comes with a big 3990mAh battery offering several hours of talk time and standby time.
Looking at the specifications, most of us would think that the new ZTE device falls under the premium smartphone category. However, that's really not the case as the ZTE MAX XL is available at a very affordable price tag of $129.99, which is around Rs 8,317. The smartphone currently is already available in the US, and will soon go up for global release. No dates have been mentioned as of now.
In terms of the specifications, ZTE MAX XL features a 6-inch IPS FHD display coupled with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone is powered by 1.4GHz Qualcomm's Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor and runs of the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat. ZTE MAX XL comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The storage space can be further expanded up to 128GB via an external microSD card slot. This is the first ever time that ZTE has come up with specifications that most high-end phones pack at such an affordable price tag. On the connectivity front, the smartphone include several options like HPUE technology and LTE+ support.
Commenting on ZTE MAX XL, Lixin Cheng, chairman, and CEO of ZTE USA says, "The ZTE MAX XL is intended to show just how great an affordable premium device can be in 2017.We continue to push boundaries and give consumers more of what they want - bigger battery, bigger screen and the best connection possible - all at an affordable price. Consumers can get an excellent smartphone for under $130, and the MAX XL proves it." With this, it will not be really wrong to say that the company has a lot of expectations from the newly launched ZTE MAX XL.
