Nokia 3310 spotted online

Back in February, Nokia announced three new android smartphones along with a refresh of the legendary Nokia 3310 at MWC 2017. The diminutive feature phone captured the imagination of the world thanks to oodles of nostalgia, its tank-like build quality and its mammoth battery life.
Nokia fans have been eager to get their hands on the Nokia 3310 as soon as they can. While HMD Global has not officially announced the price or the exact launch date, the device has been spotted on an Indian retailer website by the name of OnlyMobiles.com.
The listing shows a price of Rs 3,899 and also proclaims that the phone will launch on 17th May 2017, with pre-bookings opening on 5th May. This ties in well with earlier rumours pointing towards a May release for the Nokia 3310. The 3310 is set to go on sale in Austria and Germany on April 28.
The new Nokia 3310 is quite a comprehensive update over the original and comes with a 2.4' color display, a 2MP rear camera and a microSD slot. The device comes with a design which while honoring the original, is much slimmer and lighter. It comes in a bevy of colourful shades such as red, yellow, blue and grey.
The device's removable 1200mAh battery offers 22 hours of talktime and a colossal 30 days of standby time. Unlike the proprietary port on the original 3310, the new version comes with a convenient microUSB port for charging.
The new Nokia 3310 comes with the same old 2G connection as its predecessor with no Wi-Fi on board. Additionally, it retains the iconic Nokia ringtone that became so ubiquitous during the early 2000's.
On the software front, the device runs on the S30+ operating system and comes with an updated version of the iconic Snake game found on the original Nokia 3310.
