Reliance Jio is no longer free. This means that all Jio users will now have to pay for data and other services that they have been using for free for over 6 months now. Reliance Jio has now come up with new tariff plans for both prepaid and postpaid users.
Jio on its official website has listed several tariff plans for both Jio Prime and non-Prime members. Also the plans are being offered for both prepaid users and postpaid users. Let's take a detailed look at all the tariff plans that Jio has for its prepaid and postpaid users and also for Prime and non-Prime members.
For Prepaid users
Rs 96 for 7 days
Prime members: Under this plan, the Jio Prime prepaid users will get 7GB data for 7 days, along with 1GB FUP for daily use. After the 1GB data per day, the 4G data speed will drop to 128 kbps. The plan offers unlimited local and STD calls to all networks.
Non-Prime members: If you are not a prime member, Jio at Rs 96 will offer free voice calls along with 600MB of 4G data for 7 days. After the 1GB day per day, the 4G data speed will drop to 128 kbps.
Rs 149 for 28 days
Prime members: In this plan, the prime members will get unlimited and free STD and local voice calls. The plan also offers 2GB data for 28 days. Additionally, the tariff also offers free 300 local and STD SMS.
Non-Prime members: Under this plan, the users only get 1GB data per day instead of 2GB that Prime members can enjoy. All other benefits, including calls and messages, remain same.
Rs 309 for 84 days
The plan offers unlimited STD and local voice calls and 84GB of 4G data, with 1GB data FUP per day. After FUP limit is over, the data speed drops down to 128kbps. The plan is valid for 84 days on the first recharge. However, after the competition of 84 days, the Jio prime member has to again recharge their number with Rs 309 and they will then get 28GB of 4G data valid for 28 days. This means the tariff plan offers 1GB of data per day. This plan is not open to non-Prime members.
Rs 509 for 84 days
On the first recharge with Rs 509, Jio Prime members will get unlimited STD and local voice calls, along with 168GB of 4G data for 84 days. This means tariff plan offers 2GB of data FUP per day, after which the data speed drops to 128kbps. After the completion of the first 84 days, the Jio users will have to recharge again with Rs 509 and they will then get 56GB of 4G data for 28 days. This means the plan offers 2GB of data per day. This plan is not open to non-Prime members.
Rs 999 for 120 days
This plan offers 120GB of 4G data for 120 days on the first recharge. This means the plan offers 1GB of data for a day, exceeding which the speed will drop to 128kbps. The plan also offers free STD and local voice calls. After the completion of the first 120 days, the Jio prime members have to recharge again with Rs 999, which then will offer free voice calls to both STD and local numbers across any network, along with 60GB of 4G data for 60 days, which accounts for 1GB data limit per day. This plan is not open to non-Prime members.
Rs 1999 for 150 days
On the first recharge, the Jio Prime members will get 185GB data for 150 days along with unlimited STD and local voice calls. After the first 150 days, Jio Prime members will have to recharge their numbers again with Rs 1999 and will get 125GB of 4G data along with unlimited voice calls for 90 days. Not open to non-Prime members.
Rs 4999 for 240 days
On recharging with Rs 4999, the Jio Prime member will get 410GB of 4G data along with unlimited voice calls for 240 days. On the next recharge after 240 days, the Jio user will get 350GB of data with unlimited STD and local voice calls for 180 days. Not open to non-Prime members.
Rs 9999 for 420 days
The tariff plan offers 810GB of 4G data with unlimited STD and local voice calls for 420 days. On the next recharge, the Jio Prime member will get 750GB 4G data along with unlimited voice calls for 360 days. This too is not open to non-Prime members.
Postpaid Plans
Important: None of the postpaid plans are open to non-Prime members.
Rs 309: Under this tariff plan, the Jio postpaid users will get unlimited voice calls, 90GB of 4G data, for 3 months. This means, under this postpaid plan, the Jio users will get about 1GB of 4G data every day. This is only for the first cycle. From the second cycle onwards, the Jio users will get 30GB of data, unlimited voice calls for 1 month.
Rs 509: On the first recharge, the Jio postpaid user under this plan will get 180GB of 4G data with unlimited voice calls for 90 days. After the completion of the first 3 months, the Jio postpaid user will again have to pay the same monthly price of Rs 509. This will get them 60GB data for a month, with 2GB data FUP every day. The plan also offers unlimited STD and local calls to any network.
Rs 999: This postpaid plan of Rs 999 gives users 180GB of 4G data along with unlimited voice calls for 90 days. After 3 months, the Jio users under this plan will get 60GB of data for 30 days. There is no daily FUP in this plan.
