After tasting an overwhelming success with Redmi 3s and Redmi 3s Prime, Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the next iteration of the Redmi series called Redmi 4 series in India. Xiaomi has sent out media invites for the event, and it has also started promulgating the launch on social media channels.
The invite says, 'Time to get Smarter' and the ‘A’ in smarter is written as ‘4’ in bold red colour. The highlight hints the arrival of Redmi 4A for sure, but it is still not sure if Xiaomi has plans to bring more smartphones under the series.
TheXiaomi Redmi 4A is the cheapest of the lot with basic hardware specifications. It is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8917 Snapdragon 425 and Adreno 308 GPU. In the memory department, it offers 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card. In terms of optics, it houses a 13MP f/2.2 system on the back and 5MP sensor on the front. A non-removable 3210mAh battery fuels this device.

It packs 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card upto 256GB. It runs on Android 6.1 Marshmallow with MIUI 8 on the top.
