According to IDC, the worldwide wearables market reached an all-time high in Q4 of 2016 as shipments reached 33.9 million, growing 16.9% year-over-year. A trend noticed was that major platforms like, WatchOS and Android Wear, have pivoted towards fitness and health applications.
