New Coolpad Note 5 Lite with 4G VoLTE launched at Rs 8199

Coolpad has launched another pocket friendly smartphone today in India, called the Note 5 Lite. The company seems to be building up on the Note series which turned out to be the most successful series in India. The new smartphone looks like a toned down version of the previously released Coolpad Note 5 smartphone. 

The Coolpad Note 5 Lite comes with a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720p) IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 294ppi. Under the hood it runs a quad-core Mediatek MT6735CP chipset clocked at 1GHz and is coupled with ARM Mali-720 GPU. It further has 3GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage which is expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. It comes with Android Marshmallow 6.0 out-of the box with Cool UI 8.0 skinned on top of it. 

On the camera front, the Note 5 Lite sports a 13MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash. Up front, there is an 8MP camera with front facing LED flash for low light selfies. It comes packed in a metal shell that looks like the Coolpad Note 5. It has a fingerprint sensor on the back, which comes with some additional gestures to make the most out of it. It comes with a 2,500 mAh battery with a standby time up to 200 hours. 

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Dual-SIM, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG, and a micro USB port. Sensors include accelerometer, proximity, light, and fingerprint sensor. IIt measures 145.3 x 72.3 x 8.7 mm and weighs 148 grams.

The Coolpad Note 5 Lite is priced at Rs 8,199. The smartphone will go on sale exclusively through Amazon India from Tuesday, March 21 onwards. It will be available in Gold and Grey colour variants.
