Latest Blackberry KEYone on website, spills out price and other details

China-based TCL Communications was granted privilege to manufacture phones under Blackberry's name. After the collaboration, Blackberry KeyOne is the third phone to be launched after DTEK 50 and DTEK 60. It was recently unveiled at MWC 2017 on February 25. 

Within a few days of launch, an online retailer from India has already listed the device on its website, Onlymobiles.com, with all the specifications, warranty details, and price. It is priced at Rs. 39,999 and comes with one-year Blackberry Indiawarranty. However, no ETA is given in the listing. 

To recap, the smartphone comes with a 4.5-inch full HD (1620x1080p) IPS display (~433ppi) along with a physical QWERTY keyboard that supports swiping gestures. The implementation will give you best of both worlds. Under to hood, it runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core chipset clocked at 2Ghz, paired with Adreno 506 GPU. Further, it comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage, expandable up to 2TB via microSD. 

On the camera front, Blackberry KEYone has a 12MP rear camera with Sony IMX378 sensor and an 8MP wide-angle front camera with flash. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE and USB Type-C port. 

It runs on Android 7.1 with Blackberry Hub, and DETK added on top. It has a 3505mAh battery that's claimed to give all-day battery life with QuickCharge 3.0 and an additional 'Boost' charging feature that gives 50 percent charge in 36 minutes.

Blackberry going into a state of oblivion and then launching a phone out of nowhere has become a routine. Blackberry recently hit the headlines when it slipped to a 0 percent share of the global smartphone market. Nevertheless, let us see if Blackberry KeyOne can turnaround the fortunes.
