Latest Blackberry KEYone with Snapdragon 625 launched 2017

Now when the Canadian smartphone maker Blackberry is so close to its end, they have launched their last phone dubbed as the KEYone. Blackberry KEYone is the last phone designed and engineered by the company. To recall, Blackberry in September announced to end its design and production unit, and license the brand to partners.

The launch took place just ahead of the official commencement of MWC 2017, and it is the first major phone to get launched at the event. Highlight of the Blackberry KEYone is its physical capacitive keyboard, which also has a fingerprint sensor in it. Apart from the keyboard, it also has the latest version of Android, and like every Blackberry phone, it has dedicated productivity and security features.

The smartphone comes with a 4.5-inch full HD (1620x1080p) IPS display with a pixel density of 433ppi. Under to hood it runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core chipset clocked at 2Ghz, paired with Adreno 506 GPU. Further it comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage, expandable up to 2TB via microSD.

On the camera front, Blackberry KEYone has a 12MP rear camera with Sony IMX378 sensor and an 8MP wide-angle front camera with flash. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE and USB Type-C port.

It runs on Android 7.1 with Blackberry Hub and DETK added on top. It has a 3505mAh battery that's claimed to give all-day battery life with QuickCharge 3.0 and an additional 'Boost' charging feature that gives 50 percent charge in 36 minutes.
