Huawei’s sub brand Honor launched the V8 smartphone last is in May. After several rumours and leaks, the company is all set to launch Honor V9 on February 21. The company has released an official teaser announcing the launch of Honor V9 in China. To address the launch event, Chinese swimmer Sun Yang will serve as the spokesperson for the Honor V9.

Honor V9 was spotted in TENNA couple of days back, it appears to feature a unibody metal design. It is expected to boast of a dual camera setup with a LED flash and fingerprint sensor on the back.

According to TENNA, the V9 will have a 12MP + 2MP dual camera setup and on the front, it will have an 8MP camera. It will feature a 5.7-inch QHD display which supposedly has a 2.5D curved glass on top. It is expected to be powered by an octa-core Kirin 960 processor coupled with 4GB and 6GB RAM.

It is also expected to be the first Honor phone to come with Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. To power up the device, it will come with a 4000mAh non-removable battery.

Although, these specifications are not yet official, but we will update once the device is launched in China. To recall, the predecessor Honor V8 was exclusive to Chinese market only but it is rumoured that V9 will debut in multiple markets this time.

Honor has been consistent in global markets, and Indian market has been a major focus of the company so far. It would be interesting to see if Honor brings the V9 in India or not.
