Asus ZenFone 3S Max with 5000mAh battery launched for Rs 14,999

Asus has launched a new ZenFone 3 series smartphone on Tuesday called ZenFone 3S Max (ZC521TL). Priced at Rs. 14,999, the Black and Sand Gold colour variants of the smartphone will be available via both offline and online retail channels starting Tuesday. 

Taiwan-based handset maker Asus has launched the lower mid-range smartphone ZenFone 3S Max via web streaming and the highlight of the phone is its 5000mAh battery. 

Like its predecessor, the Asus Zenfone 3 Max, and the new ZenFone 3S Max share some similar features. 

The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat based ZenUI 3.0. It sports a 5.2-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display and has 2.5D contoured edge. The smartphone runs on an MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, stacked with 3GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage.

For the connectivity part, it has an expandable storage via microSD card (up to 2TB). The optics include a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P Largan lens, and dual-LED real-tone flash along with an 8-megapixel front camera for shooting selfies. 

The phone’s connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope. It comes with dual GSM SIM slots (Micro + Nano). 

Also, the ZenFone 3S Max (ZC521TL) dual-SIM smartphone has reverse charging capability meaning it can serve as power bank for other smartphones.
