NEW DELHI: ZTE has launched a new flip smartphone in the United States. Dubbed CYMBAL-T, the smartphone has a price tag of $99.95.
The CYMBAL-T runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and features a 3.5-inch touch screen display. It is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chipset coupled with 1GB of RAM. There's also 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD cards.
For imaging duties, the clamshell-style smartphone sports a 5MP primary camera with LED flash and a 2MP selfie shooter. Major connectivity options include 4G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Recently, ZTE launched its Axon 7 Max smartphone in China. The smartphone has a 6-inch Full HD display of 1080x1920 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass and has naked-eye 3D viewing functionality.
Powering the Axon 7 Max is a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU paired with 4GB of RAM. There's 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 200GB via microSD cards. The dual SIM smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
ZTE Axon 7 Max has a dual rear camera setup, with two 13MP modules (colour + B&W) and dual-tone LED flash. There is also a 13MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and 88-degree wide-angle lens for selfies.
The smartphone has a metal unibody design and also a fingerprint sensor. ZTE has incorporated Dolby Atmos audio technology with the AKM4962 chip for an enhanced audio experience on the Axon 7 Max. Backed by a 4,100mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support, the smartphone offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type-C as major connectivity options. ZTE Axon 7 Max is available in Gold colour.
