NEW DELHI: Lava has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of a new tablet. Dubbed Ivory POP, the tablet is priced at Rs 6,299 and will be available in Black colour option.
In terms of specifications, Lava Ivory POP features a 7-inch display of 1024x600 pixel resolution. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, the tablet is powered by a 1GHz quad-core Intel processor paired with 1GB of RAM. There's 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD cards.
The dual-SIM Lava Ivory POP has a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, along with a 3.2MP front-facing snapper for video calling. Powered by a 3,000mAh battery, the device offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options. It also includes support for 21 regional languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali and more.
Recently, Lava launched its X28 smartphone in India. Priced at Rs 7,349, the device has a 5.5-inch HD display of 720x1280 pixel resolution. The dual-SIM handset is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It offers 8GB of inbuilt storage, further expandable up to 32GB via microSD cards.
Lava X28 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out-of-the-box and supports LTE bands in India, namely FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz), Band 5 and TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz). VoLTE support with HD voice calling on Reliance Jio network is supported as well.
For imaging duties, the smartphone has an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front shooter (both with LED flash). Backed by a 2,600mAh battery, the X28 includes 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as major connectivity options.
