WhatsApp new update comes with larger Emojis, Music Sharing: A new feature has been added to the WhatsApp that had been spotted earlier this week that includes group invite links and mentions and it appears that WhatsApp is also set to get larger emoji and improved music sharing features.

According to a report by the German publication Macerkopf, the upcoming features that were spotted in the WhatsApp for the iOS beta, just like the group invite links and mentions. Let’s start with the larger emoji, the move that follows Apple’s unveiling of the larger emoji with the iOS 10 and WhatsApp seems to appear to be preparing for their introduction, by using what is said to be the same size of the emoji and three times bigger than the regular ones.

Now coming to the music sharing, the reports stated that the users can now share songs with their contacts. The users can link to the song on Apple Music or can be stored locally. The recipient will see music icon and will also see album art as well. Currently the shared ‘audio’ files do not have this functionality.

Recently, another feature also spotted in WhatsApp Beta for iOS changelog and that was gif image support. However, the general WhatsApp for iOS users do not have gif image support so far.

Earlier in this month, WhatsApp received a feature that allowed the users to quote messages when replying. The users just need to long press a message in any conservation to see the reply option that was pop up alongside delete, forward, star and copy.

New features have been steadily adding by the Facebook-owned WhatsApp and among them the most anticipated is video calling, that was recently spotted in the testing on Android beta app.
