So, while watching Facebook videos by using the Samsung’s VR goggles, now you will be able to choose between the standard series of reactions on the social network’s including one of the five new emoji ‘Reactions’ or ‘like’. While viewing 360-degree videos, you will also be able to see the other’s reactions float by as well as on the screen, technology website The Verge reported.
In March the Reactions were supposed to be rolled out in VR when the company first began by letting the Gear VR users to sign into their Facebook accounts on VR headset to get the personalized feed of the stories.
In May in cinematic and gaming experiences, Facebook acquired Edinburgh-based Two Big Ear that specializes in the 3D audio.
Now Facebook will make Two Big Ears i.e. 3Decption technology for the free developers as a part of their new ‘Facebook 360 Spatial Workshop’.
Both the Rift and the Gear VR support the immersive audio technology and fact that Facebook is opening up the Two Big Ear’s 3Dception technology for the free developers this is a nice move to keep the content creators happy.
After acquiring Oculus for $2 billion in 2014 the social network has substantially expanded team of the engineers and the developer relations staff.
