Apple is rumored to finally be doing away with 16GB base storage variant and by replacing it with the 32GB option. In 2008 the company first introduced the 16GB variant and it has remained as the base model in 2012.
256GB top storage variant:
With the legendarily eschewing of iPhone series support for a microSD card and this bump up should help the power users to get the most out of their iOS powered smartphone. According to a new report it has been find out that the iPhone 7 will be available in 256GB, 64GB and 32GB variants, on the other side iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro will be available in 256GB, 128GB and 32GB variants.
