Save Battery Life on Your Android Device : 7 Awesome Tips

Latest Govt. Jobs 12:22:00 How To's Edit
Hi guys today I am giving some tips and tricks on how to save battery life on your android device. No matter which android device you use, I think these tips will help you all.
Increase Battery Life of Android Device Image
As we all know that android is the most popular smartphone and tablet OS (operating system). It’s growing in the lightning speed. More than 1 billion devices (smartphones) are running on the android. If you own an android device then I don’t need to tell you the pros of using android.
But one bad thing about android devices is most of them don’t have good battery life. You can’t expect more than 5 hours of battery life when you are using your device heavily. So here are some tips on how you can increase your android smartphones battery life.

Increasing Android device’s Battery Life:

1. Don’t Use Live Wallpapers:

Using Life wallpapers is one of the most common reason for getting low battery life from android device. There are many websites which will give free live wallpapers to download for your android device. But I will recommend that you should use cool image wallpapers most of the time as it will save lot of your phones battery.

2. Remove Unwanted Widgets from Home Screen:

Widgets which you see on the home screen also consume some power of your device to run. So, don’t use any unwanted widgets in your smartphones home screen this will drop your smartphones up time.
3. Turn off Wi-Fi and Mobile Data when not using it:
Just like any normal blogger I use internet most of the time on my computer but I do use my smartphone for browsing the web. May be you have noticed that browsing web reduced your smartphones uptime. It directly effects on your smartphone or tablet’s uptime, so turn off Wi-Fi or mobile data when you are not using web.

4. Set Timeout for your Device Screen:

You should definitely set timeout on your display’s screen. Make it as short as you need (or what will be practical for you). You may be aware of this fact that – “Studies report – the average smartphone user turns their smartphone on 150 times a day”. So if the automatic screen timeout is 1 minutes and you set it to 15 seconds then it will save 4 times of power.
In short it will save a lot of power and battery life.

5. Turn off Automatic Brightness:

You may turn off automatic brightness this alone will give you great results. Set exactly how much brightness you want in your device. Also, this will save your eyes from bad effects of smartphone light.

6. Control Apps running in the background:

From Settings > Apps, swipe to the left; you’ll see a list of apps that are currently running. To see what apps are for just give a Tap on each one. There you can easily stop any app from running in the background. This will improve your smartphones battery life.
7. See what’s Consuming the Most of Your Phones Battery:
You can navigate to Settings from your android device. Open Battery tab to see an organized breakdown of what’s consuming your phone’s battery. Applications and features will display in a descending list of battery hogs. In that list if you see anything (feature or app) that you don’t want to use then you can control that. So that’s all I think this has helped you.
