The Chromebooks are cheaper, smarter and better. I have suggested some Best Google Chromebooks in my old articles and In this post we’ll talk about rebooting the Acer C720 Chromebook. Sometimes these cheap Chromebooks create problems due to some technical fault or it also happens whenever any user adds external accessories which causes faults. Recently a Visitor asked that how to perform reboots in Chromebook, Below his question –
“My acer chromebook c720 wont turn back on. It acts like its gonna turn on to turn back off again. It goes to the google chrome screen and turns black. It goes between those screens repetitively and its annoying and not fixable . Any help would be wonderful thanks in advance!”
Rebooting Acer C720
It’s usually not safe to do this, but in a situation where it keeps rebooting, you need to turn it off completely.
- Press and hold the power button until it goes to sleep.
- Then, press the power button again to turn it on; you should end up coming to a screen that has a whole bunch of commands.
- Using your arrows, scroll down to ‘safe mode’ and hit the enter button.
- From there, you should be able to re-download what you were (or whatever made you turn it off) and fix the issue.
You can also perform the Hard reset feature which will restore your Chromebook to the old point from where you started. To reset your Acer Chromebook c720, simply remove the battery and reinsert it if you have another Chromebook I will suggest you to reinsert the power cable. To perform hard reset you need to press Refresh+Power button.
Factory reset a Chromebook
You can also reset your Acer Chromebook when you don’t have a password, for that you need to simply press Alt+Ctrl+Shift+Rand tap the Restart button. Doing so brings up the Powerwash prompt, which you can choose to wipe the device clean within a few minutes.
