NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi launched two new smartphones under its Note series in India recently. The company has also announced at the time of the launch that they have partnered with Reliance Jio both the smartphones -- Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro.
Under the latest offer from Reliance Jio, customers will get cashback of Rs 2,200 in the form of vouchers on the purchase of Redmi Note 5 and the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Along with this, customers will also get 100% additional 4G data on their existing plans.
The service provider reveals that the instant cashback of Rs 2,200 will be available in the form of 44 vouchers of Rs 50 each. A customer can use these vouchers for recharge via the MyJio app after the first recharge of Rs 198 or Rs 299 plan.
Customers can use the vouchers on the double data recharges of Rs 198 and Rs 299 plans. The double data offer is available on all Jio recharges of above Rs 198. Users can avail the double data offer only on first 3 recharges.
To recall, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and the Redmi Note 5 Pro will be available on Flipkart and Mi.com starting February 22. The Redmi Note 5 comes with a starting price tag of Rs 9,999, while the Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with a starting price tag of Rs 13,999. Both the devices feature bezel-less display with 18:9 aspect ratio.
This is not the first time that Xiaomi and Reliance Jio have partnered for a smartphone. In November last year, the company launched its cheapest smartphone Redmi 5A and Reliance Jio announced the cashback of Rs 1,000 for the its customers.
