“The latest leak suggests that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S will sport an all-screen front and an under-display fingerprint sensor”
Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi Mix series smartphone, allegedly dubbed the Mi Mix 2S, has been the subject of a number of leaks and reports lately. The leaked photos had suggested that the phone will come with higher screen-to-body ratio than its predecessor. Now, an alleged sketch of the Mi Mix 2S has surfaced on the interwebs along with its specs, which shows off a completely different design than the one seen in the photos that leaked earlier.

The leaked sketch and specs suggest that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S will flaunt a ceramic body. The will come with the brand’s Full Screen 3.0 technology with a higher screen-to-body ratio than its predecessor. The photos indicate that the device will feature almost no bezels on all the sides, and will get a small notch on the right corner of the screen, where the selfie shooter will be placed. The images that had surfaced earlier even suggested that the Mix 2S could sport an iPhone X-like notch.
Interestingly, the sketch of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S indicates that the phone will flaunt an under-display fingerprint sensor, which we have already seen on a recently-launched flagship from Vivo. The leak suggests that the Mix 2S will boast a four-sided curved ceramic unibody design. The next-gen Mi Mix handset could also be the world’s first smartphone to be powered by a 2.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 845 processor. The device is expected to come with a massive 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The leak also mentions the presence of a 12-megapixel optical zoom dual camera and global 4G LTE bands support for the Mi Mix 2S. There’s no way to confirm the authenticity of these leaked specs, so we advise you to take the information with a pinch of salt for now.
Reports had suggested the phone will be unveiled at MWC this month. However, a recent rumour had indicated that the brand will be announcing the device at a separate event later in March or April.
