NEW DELHI: Many smartphone makers have started rolling out Android Oreo update for their smartphones last year. Now, another smartphone maker Vivo has decided to give Oreo update to seven of its smartphones.
The company has revealed that all the seven smartphones will receive Android Oreo update by April 2018. The list of Vivo smartphones that will receive Android update include -- Vivo X20, Vivo X20 Plus, Vivo X9s, Vivo Xplay6, Vivo X9, Vivo X9s Plus, Vivo X9 Plus.
Along with the Android Oreo update, the company will also update its FunTouch OS. Vivo will soon start a beta program for the Oreo update on its official forum. Once everything is in place the company will push out the final update via OTA.
The update will bring all the different Android Oreo features to the Vivo smartphones. The features include Dots for notifications, Picture-in-picture mode, Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) 5.0 Support, Smart text selection and others.
Earlier this month, Vivo launched Vivo V7+ Red Limited edition Infinite Love in India. The company has launched this edition to mark the occasion of Valentine's Day.
The latest Red colour edition of the Vivo V7+ is specially designed by ace designer Manish Malhotra. The smartphone is also a bit costly as compared to the standard variant. The company launched the Vivo V7+ at Rs 21,999, while the Vivo V7+ Red Limited edition Infinite Love comes with a price tag of Rs 22,990. The smartphone is exclusively available on Amazon.
The company is also giving some offers to the buyers of Vivo V7+ Red Limited edition Infinite Love. Amazon is giving a voucher of Rs 500 from ferns and petals and couple movie tickets from Bookmyshow. Along with this, the customers can also avail an exchange offer of up to Rs 18,551 on the
