Honor 9 Lite smartphone has been in the Indian consumer market in almost a month and has gone on sale for 5 times now on domestic e-commerce marketplace Flipkart. The handset clearly seems to have garnered people's attention as it went out-of-stock within minutes of the sale, as per the data provided by Flipkart.
Now the handset is set to go on sale again today at 12PM on Flipkart. As part of today's sale, Flipkart is offering a guaranteed buyback value of Rs 7,000 for the device. Besides this, Flipkart is also offering a 5% instant discount to Axis Bank credit card holders whereas SBI debit and credit card holders can avail 5% discount. For Vodafone customers there is an offer to avail up to 295GB data for period of 6 months on recharge with Rs 199.
The handset was launched on January 18 in India in two storage models. The 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage is priced at Rs 10,999 while the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant and comes for Rs 14,999.
The handset will be available in Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue and the recently made available Glacier Grey colour options tomorrow.
The highlight of the Honor 9 Lite smartphone is mirror-like finish unibody design thanks to the 12 layers of glass that it is claimed to have on the rear panel with a 2.5D glass coating.
Besides that, another feature that this device boasts of is the quad-camera setup. It has a dual 13MP+2MP camera module on both front and back. The front camera features gesture controls support and live image captures as well as has the standard beautification modes. The camera on the back has an HDR mode and PDAF fast focus capabilities. For those unaware, the Honor 9 Lite is not the first device from Huawei's sub-brand Honor to come with a four camera setup. Honor 9i too had the same feature, which was the USP of the smartphone.

Powering the device is the company's own Kirin 659 octa-core processor. The operating system too has Huawei's EMUI 8.0 UI based on Android 8.0 Oreo. Backed by a 3000mAh battery the smartphone offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
