Micromax Canvas Infinity does not look similar to the company’s previous phones with thick bezels. The phone comes with the 18:9 aspect ratio, instead of the usual 16:9 aspect display. The 18:9 ratio has been seen on the LG G6 and later on the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ smartphones.Micromax Canvas Infinity smartphones has finally been launched today. Micromax Canvas Infinity is priced at Rs 9,999 in India, and sales begin September 1. Canvas Infinityis Amazon exclusive and registrations for the device begin August 22. Micromax Canvas Infinity sports a metal body, which is interesting. LG has also launched LG Q6 with a similar full vision display. Canvas Infinity phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. The screen size is 5.7-inches. The battery is 2900mAh and it is claimed to offer a standby time of 260 hours, and a talk time of 11 hours. Canvas Infinity is a 4G VoLTE-enabled, dual SIM device.
Micromax Canvas Infinity runs Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box with minimum bloatware apps pre-loaded on the device. Google Android O has also been confirmed for Canvas Infinity. The phone sports a 13-megapixel camera on the back which comes with a number of modes like real time bokeh, face beauty, auto scene detection, and super pixel. There’s a 16-megapixel shooter on the front with a selfie flash. Using Gallery 4.0 makes use of image and facial recognition technologies to allow users to search for photos in gallery by recognizing a person’s face.
Micromax has high hopes from the Canvas Infinity, and this will be the first time a local smartphone manufacturer is coming with the phone with the unusual 18:9 display aspect ratio on a budget smartphone. With Canvas Infinity, Micromax is offering 24 hours repair or replacement promise.
