Oxygen OS 4.1.0 brings Android 7.1.1 Nougat for the OnePlus 3 and 3T



OnePlus has started rolling out the OxygenOS 4.1.0 update for both the OnePlus 3 and 3T. The new update brings with it a whole new range of features, the chief amongst them being the upgrade from Android 7.0 to Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
Additionally, OxygenOS 4.1.0 brings the March Android security update for both smartphones. Apart from that, the new software update also adds a new feature to help users capture expanded screenshots.
The earlier OxygenOS 4.0.3 update brought with it certain problems such as Wi-Fi connectivity issues and UI bugs. The new update fixes most of these issues and also brings with it a host of other bug fixes and improvements.
The new update also brings with it massive improvements to the optics of both the OnePlus 3 and 3T. It comes with a new blur reduction feature which makes it easier for users to capture crystal clear images alongside improvements in video stability.  As the over the air update will be rolling out gradually, it may take some time for the update to land on your smartphones. Once the update is available, you will get a notification on your device informing you of the same.
If you can't wait for the notification, you can head over to Settings > About Phone > System Update to manually check for the update.
The OnePlus 3T has been hailed by critics and users alike as one of the best smartphones of 2016.
The smartphone comes with the Snapdragon 821 SoC, 6GB of RAM, a 5.5' full HD display, 64/128 GB of non expandable internal storage, Adreno 530 GPU, a 16MP rear camera, a 16MP front camera and a 3,400mAh battery.
