New Samsung Galaxy S8 launch date and venue hinted 2017

Samsung held a press event last night at world’s biggest mobile showdown, the Mobile World Congress 2017. As we already know, Samsung usually announces the Galaxy S series smartphones at the event has skipped the Galaxy S8 launch this year at MWC. The company launched the Galaxy Tab S3 and the Galaxy book two-in-one at the press conference. Followed by launch, Samsung revealed the launch date of its next flagship Galaxy S8. The phone will be unveiled on March 29 2017 at an event called Samsung Unpacked

Although the Galaxy S8 was not named or flashed in the teaser, but there is hardly anything else that it can be. Koh Dong-jin, president of mobile communications at Samsung, recently said that the “official schedule" for the phone will be announced at this year's Mobile World Congress.

We have also come across rumours that match the launch date. The invites for the event are sent out, and it will take place in New York and London.

Samsung did drop a hint with the top and bottom bezel which makes it pretty obvious that it is nothing else but the Galaxy S8. Samsung had already announced that the smartphone will be having its own big scale event, which is now booked for March 29.

As far as the rumours are concerned, Galaxy S8 rumours have been flooding the internet from quite sometime now. Especially after the Note 7 fiasco, fans are expecting something extraordinary from the company. The leaks have been coming thick and quick, with rumours claiming a 4K or QHD screen, 5.8 and 6.2 inch size options and a super wide 18.5:9 aspect ratio, Snapdragon 835 processor, removal of home buttons and tons of other features.

Now when the date is almost a month away, we’ll soon be over with the suspense. It will surely be a huge day for tech enthusiasts to see how Samsung hits back the market with this year’s most awaited flagship from the company.
