Coursera, an education-focussed technology company , has partnered with Google to offer Google Cloud Training courses on its platform, reports Our Bureau.The courses will be developed and taught by Google experts and will be available on-demand for any current or aspiring IT professionals and data engineers.
“Cloud computing is one of the high demand areas, where specific applied skills are needed. The cloud computing industry in India will be over $ 1.8 billion... growth of that industry is limited by the number of skilled cloud professionals, out there.So, we are partnering with Google to launch a series of courses and specialisations on the Coursera platform," said Leah Belsky , vice-president of global enterprise development at Coursera.
Coursera is launching the first course in the Data Engineering on Google Cloud specialisation, `Big Data and Machine Learning', this week. This course will be the first in a five-course specialisation.
More foundational, intermediate, and advanced courses in infrastructure, machine learning, analytics, and application development are planned for launch soon.
