The latest leak coming from HTC is that the new smartwatch it will release this year will be called as the HTC UA Watch.
Despite not being in the best of his moments, HTC seems not to lose heart. The firm recently introduced two of its star devices for this year, with which it hopes to overcome the bad streak of recent years. However, everything seems to indicate that HTC intends to broaden its horizons, or that imply the latest leaks.
It has been rumored for some time the existence of a smartwatch manufactured by the Taiwanese firm, although it was not until recently that we were able to see the first tangible samples of it. Unfortunately, until now was unknown the official name that would take the device, mystery that could have been unveiled, according to what we have known thanks to The Android Soul.

If we listen to the latest leak from a Chinese source, HTC’s increasingly close smart watch in collaboration with Under Armor would be renamed HTC UA Watch. If this name is familiar, it is not uncommon, since last year the Taiwanese company unveiled an activity bracelet called HTC UA Band, also with Under Armor.
If we listen to the latest rumors, the supposed HTC UA Watch has a screen with a generous resolution of 360 x 360 pixels, which puts it above the second-generation Moto 360. Interestingly, it seems that at least for the moment, the device runs an earlier version to Android Wear 2.0, which will be available very soon.
The existence of Under Armor in the development of this device has its explanation in the fact that the alleged HTC UA Watch will make a special emphasis on the world of sports. Unfortunately, at the moment both the price at which the smartwatch will be available and the official launch date of the smartwatch is currently unknown.
