Samsung has registered a new brand, Gear Fit Pro which suggests that the company is adding a new device to its range of health bracelets for physical activity tracking.
Samsung is investing a lot in the context of wearable devices. After the success of Gear Fit 2 and the excellent accommodation for Gear S3, it seems that now the Korean company is working on a new wearable, called Gear Fit Pro.
The latest bracelet released by Samsung was last year’s Gear Fit 2, but it seems that the company has grown tired of numbers and has moved to denominations with letters or perhaps the denomination comes because it is a more “professional”
Unfortunately the name is the only information we know about this device. At the moment we do not know what features this Gear Fit Pro will have, but considering that in the name there is the word ‘Pro’ we can assume that the wearable will have something better than the Gear Fit2, or perhaps it could be the successor to the Gear Fit 2 only that instead of being called Gear Fit 3 it will be called Gear Fit Pro.
The application for trademark registration, which has been filed with the European Intellectual Property Agency, does not include images or details of its specifications.
If it is just a small update to Gear Fit 2 then it is possible that Samsung will announce the gadget at the end of February at the MWC 2017, while if it has some major improvements compared to the Gear Fit2, then the debut we expect would be in September at the IFA 2017 fair in Berlin.
