Reliance Jio sends love to Airtel, Vodafone and Idea, and it’s really funny

Reliance Jio is dominating the Indian telecom industry with its back to back masterstrokes. After phase by phase roll out, Jio added more than 16 million subscribers in just 1 month and broke all the records. Giving away free services was not the only thing that drove the company’s graph sky high, but also the consistent improvement in the strategies played a major role. 

The company took its Twitter handle to express its feelings on Valentine’s Day and took a jibe at Airtel , Vodafone and Idea in the most epic way possible. Twitteratis immediately started adding their flavour to Jio’s Tweet and it has turned out to be more epic. The Tweet goes like, “Dear @airtelindia, @VodafoneIN, @ideacellular, Happy Valentine’s Day. #WithLoveFromJio”.
Reliance Jio now stands as one badass telecom company in the market right now. Soon after its roll out, sector leaders like Airtel, Vodafone and Idea recorded huge drop in revenues and shares. All the competitors are seen hustling to keep their spot safe, and introduced revised data and calling plans to tackle Reliance Jio. Airtel even dragged Reliance Jio to court and made several allegations against its free offers, but Jio played out safe and made things worse for Airtel. 

There is no doubt that Jio has taken down many records and the service has been improved over time. It is is still too early to make big claims about the company until and unless the free offers are over. The actual report card of Jio’s performance will come after 31st March when the company will start charging for its services. Until then, enjoy the free data and “Tweets” from Jio.
