Latest LG launches made in India K10 (2017) with panic button for Rs 13,990

LG India launches the latest K-series smartphone, adding up to the portfolio with LG K10 2017. Union minister of information and technology, Ravi Shankar Prasad addressed the media to highlight how LG K10 is contributing to Make in India and the importance of special 'Panic' button feature on the smartphone. 


LG K10 2017 is the successor of the LG K10 2016, targeting the sub 15k smartphone segment. LG K10 2017 was unveiled in international market earlier, along with LG K3, K4 and K8. The highlights of the K10 2017 is its panic button that initiates an emergency call to 122 (SOS), 120 degree wide angle front camera and the pebble design. 

The LG K10 comes with a 5.3-inch HD (1280×720) in-cell touch display. Under the hood it has an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor with 2GB RAM, and 16GB of internal storage with microSD support (up to 2TB). 

It boasts of a 13MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP front shooter with a 120 degree wide angle lens. The K10 2017 runs Android 7.0 Nougat and is backed by a 2800mAh battery. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the rear. The phone supports dual SIM 4G with VoLTE, and also offers USB OTG support.

LG K10 (2017) price and availability

The LG K10 2017 is priced at Rs. 13,990 available in Black, Gold and Silver color. It will be available via retail stores from Thursday, February 23 and will go on sale via online retail stores from Sunday, February 26 onwards.
