Latest Alcatel unveils the A5 LED, A3 and the U5 at the MWC

Alcatel is not a company that many of us think about when we discuss smartphones or tablets. But the trend has changed gradually over the past couple of years. The company has now unveiled three new handsets and a tablet at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona. The highlight here is the A5 LED, which comes with an attractive LED panel on the back that can be adjusted as per the user’s liking. The back cover is removable. 

Next up is the Windows 10 powered Plus 10 tablet. This is a proper productivity-oriented device and will attract a lot of eyeballs when it hits the markets. Unlike conventional tablets, this here comes with an 11.6-inch display on board, so there’s a lot more room to play with. It also comes with 4GB of RAM and an Intel Celeron N3350 processor with the clock speed unspecified at the moment. 

Rounding off the list here is the Alcatel A3 and the U5, which are budget offerings catered for the masses. We expect to see the handsets in key markets like India over the coming months, although the company hasn’t detailed its launch plans for the market. Pricing details for any of these devices haven’t been disclosed yet, so we’re still pretty much in the dark about that aspect.
