Intex launches the all new Aqua Lions 4G

Intex Technologies has been mighty popular in the Indian smartphone market. Its popularity reached a new peak as it bagged the rights to have its own IPL franchise in 2016. Known as the Gujarat Lions, the team has quite the following already. In a bid to leverage the ‘Lions’ brand, Intex has now unveiled the Aqua Lions 4G with VoLTE on board. The company mentions that the handset will be part of Lions Series 2.0. 

Commenting on the launch of the Aqua Lions 4G, Ms. Nidhi Markanday, Director & Business Head, Intex Technologies said, ‘Basis the wonderful response we got for Aqua Lions 3G last year, we have come up with the Lions Series 2.0, powered with super speed 4G-Volte for data savvy youth. This will reinforce the brand association and enhance our connect with the young consumers. We are sure the all new Aqua Lion 4G-Volte with its powerful specs and innovative VAS features will surely be a delight for the consumers yet again.” 

The handset is priced at Rs 5,499, which makes it a very attractive offering in the budget segment. Although the hardware specs sheet is nothing to write home about, Intex is confident that the handset will manage to impress the masses. The company is bundling the handset with MiFon Security, which will protect your data in case of device theft.
