HTC reveals HTC U Ultra and U Play price in UK

HTC unveiled its latest flagship smartphone HTC U Ultra along with a smaller HTC U Play on January 12 in Taiwan. Both the smartphones are a part of the company’s all new ‘U’ series, which the company says is inspired by you and made for you. HTC unveiled the smartphones at the event but the company only detailed the release date at the event. 

The Taiwanese smartphone maker has finally revealed the price of the HTC U Ultra and the HTC U Play for UK market. Both the smartphones are listed on company’s official online store as well as at third party retailers. The HTC U Ultra is priced starting GBP 649 (approx. Rs. 54,000), and the HTC U Play is priced starting GBP 399 (approx. Rs 33,000). Both the smartphones will start shipping from March 1.

HTC U Ultra Specifications 
HTC U Ultra features a 5.7-inch Super LCD display with QHD (1440 x 2560p) resolution. It comes with a secondary display just like the LG V20, which measures 2-inch and has 1040 x 160p resolution. Under the hood, it runs an octa-core Snapdragon 821 clocked at 2.15Ghz coupled with 4GB of RAM. On the storage front, it will have two variants- 64GB and 128GB. 

It features a 12-UltraPixel on the rear and a 16MP front camera. it is backed by a 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0. 

HTC U Play Specifications 
The HTC U Play comes with a smaller 5.2-inch full-HD display and comes in two different storage variants- 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB. It comes with an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 chipset unlike the U Ultra. On the camera front, it has a 16-MP rear camera and has the same front camera as the HTC U Ultra which comes with an UtraPixel mode. It comes with 2500 mph battery. 

Both the smartphones will run on Android 7.0 Nougat with HTC’s own Sense UI on top.
