HMD Global will show off the Nokia 6 and some new handsets at the MWC

HMD Global has taken up the reins from Nokia and is directly responsible for the marketing of its products. We recently saw the company unveiling the Nokia 6, which was an exclusive to China. A new report is now claiming that the handset will be shown off again at the MWC later this month, perhaps for global markets. This is very good news since the handset hasn’t seen the light of the day outside China.

There are going to be some more handsets, apparently. There will be a total of three handsets shown off during the event, as per this new revelation. Following the Nokia 6 unveiling, the company will reveal the Nokia 5 and the Nokia 3 smartphones. It is hoped that these phones will be available across the globe.

The report also goes on to say that HMD Global will unveil a newer version of the cult favorite Nokia 3310. The phone has garnered a reputation over the years as one of the best Nokia phones to reach the markets, so it makes sense for the company to give the device a new life.

As for the Nokia 5, it is expected to feature a 5.2-inch HD (1280x720) display, accompanied by a Snapdragon 430 SoC, a 12MP rear camera, and 2GB of RAM with an estimated price tag of €199 (Rs 14,100 approx). There’s no info on what the Nokia 3 will bring to the table, however.

It seems like we’re in for quite the surprise during Nokia’s February 26 MWC event. With less than two weeks left, we hope to gather further details over the coming days.
