OnePlus 3 gets new OxygenOS 3.2.6 update, here's how to install

OnePlus recently rolled out a software update to its flagship smartphone, One Plus 3. Based on Google's Android Marshmallow version 6.0.1, the update weighs 40MB.

The new OxygenOS v3.2.6 offers some tweaks and improvements including optimizing voice call quality of some IM applications; improvements in adaptive brightness performance; tweeks in camera quality; fixing of occasional green/yellow issue; improvements to 1080p video recording; Bluetooth connection problems for vehicles fixed; allows third-party application to modify ringtone; and addition of DozeMode switch in developer options and PocketMode switch in display settings.

"This is a sizeable update full of bug fixes and improvements. We're not done yet, but hopefully this update addresses some of the frequent issues you've been facing," the company said in the official blog.

Here's how you can install the OTA update on your smartphones:

1. Tap 'Settings' on the Home Page
2. Scroll down to 'System'
3. Tap on 'About device'

3. Tap on 'Download updates' manually

4. Tap 'OK' now

5. Now Tap on 'Start'

6. Tap on 'OK', once the restart message appears

OnePlus says that the OTA will be incremental and will take a few weeks to reach users across the globe.

OnePlus 3 users can also manually look for the update. All they need to do is go to Settings >> About Phone >> System update.
