Reliance Lyf Wind 7i smartphone with 4G VoLTE, Android 6.0 Marshmallow launched at Rs 4,999

NEW DELHI: Reliance has expanded its Lyf series of smartphones with the launch of a new handset - Wind 7i. Priced at Rs 4,999, it's a cheaper variant of the company's Wind 7 smartphone. The device is available in Black and Blue colour options.

In terms of specifications, Reliance Lyf Wind 7i features a 5-inch HD display of 720x1280 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a layer of AGC glass for scratch resistance. It's powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD cards of up to 128GB in size.

The dual-SIM Lyf Wind 7i sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, along with a 5MP front-facing snapper for selfies.

Offering 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as major connectivity options, the smartphone is backed by a 2,250mAh battery.

Last month, Reliance launched its Lyf F1 Plus smartphone in India. Priced at Rs 13,099, the smartphone comes with 4G VoLTE support.

Reliance Lyf F1 Plus has a 5.5-inch Full HD display of 1080x1920 pixel resolution, further protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, it's powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded through microSD cards of up to 128GB in size.

Sporting a 16MP rear camera with LED flash, the Lyf F1 Plus has an 8MP front camera for selfies. On the connectivity front, it offers 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, with a 3,200mAh battery rounding off the spec sheet.
