This promotional offer may be due to the newly launched 4G services in Gujarat on the eve of Navratri. Yes, Airtel just extended its 4G services to Gujarat, starting with Ahmadabad and due to this, it wants to attract maximum customers.
Now if we compare it with Jio, we can say that Airtel’s plan is very cheap. After the free data scheme of Jio would be over on 31st December 2016, customers would have to pay Rs 50 for 1 GB of 4G data, whereas Airtel is offering 10 GB for just 249, which comes to Rs 25/GB i.e. half the price.
