How To Apply Hair Mask?
1. Wash Your Hair:
The first thing you need to do is wash your hair thoroughly in cold water. You can take 5 minutes if you like, but make sure your hair has been washed properly. This will also make you feel fresh. Grab a comb and gently remove all the tangles. Once you are done with that, grab a fresh towel and cover your hair with it.
2. Prepare Your Hair Mask:
Now, you will have to apply your hair mask. For soft and smooth hair, I would suggest you to grab an egg and break it and add some yogurt to it. You could also add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Mix it well and apply all over your hair. Make sure each section has been touched. Use the entire mask. Also, remember to massage the mask for a couple of minutes. Once you are done with that, let it dry for about 15 to 20 minutes.
3. Use A Shower Cap:
Now that you are done with the massage, grab a shower cap and place it on your head. You could also try using a warm towel that is wet. Let it stay for about 5 minutes. Once that has been done, you can let your hair set for two minutes. If it doesn’t set, go ahead and grab your blow dryer. That should help.
4. Wash:
After your hair has settled, you should let it dry for a while. When you feel that all sections of your hair have been dried properly, wash it in cold water. You should massage your hair at this time to get rid of the residue. This might take some time. Cold water will seal all the cuticles and make your hair soft, smooth and shiny.
5. Shampoo And Conditioning:
You can shampoo and condition your hair after you have washed off the hair mask. Depending on the product that suits you the most, deep condition your hair. Let it stay on your hair for a while after which you can wash off using cold water. Refrain from using hot or warm water. That just spoils the quality of your lovely stresses and causes grave damage.
