Released on July 8, 2016, the device features a gigantic 7-inch display that blurs the line between a smartphone and a tablet. The Samsung Galaxy J Max will set you back by Rs 13,400 for Indian people and at least $200 for importers. It is available in Black and Gold colors and will be presented to purchase at online and offline retailers later this month and is available via flash sales online. It will go on sale in India through online and offline channels starting from the Julyend. It also comes with 6 months double data offer for Airtel prepaid value up to Rs. 4,500. The J Max comes with a Bluetooth headset included and a 1 year premium payment of the Viu streaming service.
Finally, and most unluckily, the Galaxy J Max out of the box runs Android Lollipop, which has already become a second long in the tooth. Samsung did not comment whether the phone will get an update to either Marshmallow or the upcoming Nougat, but do not be shocked if the answer to that is a resounding no.
