WhatsApp is one of the most popular mobile messaging applications out there, being used by over 1 billion people every day. Right after the Voice Calling feature has been added to this application we’ve been bugging you about the Video Calling feature, which we said that it will make its way to WhatsApp sometime soon.
However, even if it took longer than expected, the WhatsApp Video Calling feature has been spotted in some pictures. This confirms that the Video Calling feature is truly coming to this application and it is just a matter of time until it will happen.
The screenshots showing the WhatsApp Video Calling feature has been spotted on an iPhone device. This feature could be implemented in the BETA version within a few days. With other words, currently the latest WhatsApp BETA version for iPhone is 2.16.3.523 and the next one will be 2.16.3.525. The WhatsApp 2.16.3.525 BETA for iPhone is expected to come with the Video Calling feature, which should happen sometime in the next days.
We remind you that we thought that the WhatsApp Video Calling feature will make its debut on Android smartphones, but it seems that the developers of this application have decided to bring it first to the iPhones.
We’re not sure yet how stable the Video Calling will be on WhatsApp application, but we’re pretty sure that the developers will do their best to make it run smoothly. We remind you that when the WhatsApp Voice Calling feature was released, it was consuming a good amount of data, but soon enough, the developers have fixed the issue and reduced the data consumption. Hopefully, this time they’ve learned from their mistakes and they will release a bug-free WhatsApp Video Calling feature without high data consumption. Another feature that is possible to be introduced soon is support for zip files, as for now, the application supports PDFs, Docs and other types of files.
