We already know that the HTC 10 will be officially announced on April 12, as HTC itself confirmed that it's going to host a major press event on that day. But when will the new smartphone hit the market?
According to ePrice, the HTC 10 will likely be launched on April 15 in Taiwan. Since Taiwan is HTC's home country, it might get the handset earlier than the rest of the world, so we may still have to wait a bit longer before seeing the One M10 hitting shelves in North America, Europe, and other regions. In fact, a couple of months back, we heard that the phone would not be released in the US before early May, though it could reach other markets on April 19. Unfortunately, for now, we can't confirm any of these dates.
HTC already shared some info about its upcoming flagship handset, including the fact that it's going to offer some kind of new "boom" sound, plus "world first, world class" cameras(front and back).
If we're to believe what a leaked image from earlier today is showing, the HTC 10 outperforms handsets like the Samsung Galaxy S7 and LG G5 (at least in one benchmark test), despite the fact that it's likely using the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor that's found inside its rivals.
Besides the powerful Snapdragon 820 CPU, the HTC 10 is expected to feature a Quad HD Super LCD 5 display of around 5.1 inches, 4 GB of RAM, 16 to 64 GB of internal memory, and a (hopefully long lasting) 3000 mAh battery. All in all, we're definitely looking forward to testing HTC's next-gen flagship smartphone. What about you?
